Songs To Accompany My Week..

So i thought i might add a few more different posts on here just to mix it up a little. This one is just a couple of songs I'm really loving (and overplaying) at the the minute.
I thought I'd share them in hope that someone else will enjoy them and you can catch a glimpse of the sort of things i like to listen to. Which brings me onto a disclosure: i have a VERY varied music taste, so be warned not all may be to taste from time to time.

What are you lovelies really loving music-wise recently? Leave me a comment and let me know so i can have a listen!

Amsterdam Adventure- Part Two.

So this is the second and final of our Amsterdam trip post (Part One *here*, i have a lot more pictures, but i don't want to bore you guys with 40 buildings i like, and many pictures of Pauls face (I can't help myself). I'm planning on starting a scrapbook with those (finally- see my '22 whilst I'm twenty-two list' *here*).
On the last full day in Amsterdam we went to the 'Artis' (Zoo), and intended to go to the Tattoo Museum but it was closed, however the Zoo was so good it made the day regardless.
It was so beautiful, and the best one i have yet been to yet. There was so much detail and beauty everywhere, not like the mud, grass and paths you come across in the UK.
Maybe this should have been done in three parts; i just love animals, i can't stop myself taking a hundred photos. There were so so many more other amazing animals which i haven't posted on here due to the length of this pot, but they included: A bear! A giant tortoise, a beautiful aquarium with some crazy looking creatures, a reptile house and so many spectacular birds. The list goes on!

The last day of our trip included..
I loved this purple house / Artis (Zoo) times / The bird cages we're amazing / Red Lemurs? All the signs were in dutch so i was unsure what was what sometimes / I was trying to pet him but then a load of uncontrolled kids came screaming over at it before i stroked him :( / Me and Paul as Lemurs / The reptile house. Unfortunately they were refurbing the Alligator section so Paul didn't get to see them which made him sad / I've being bugging Paul about getting a Tortoise for months. Look at him! i want! / There were so many types of amazing different birds just wandering around the zoo and all in the trees / Me and Paul in Beaver form / We went in the most amazing huge butterfly house, so many different kinds, shapes and colours / Me trying to pet one (I'm odd) / I LOVE PENGUINS / Lions! It was a big enclosure, but i had to zoom in on this fella, rolling around like Salem / His woman didn't like me taking pictures of him / Silverback, monkey cousins / Beast / So cute, could easily be a Pokemon / Another one of my favourites. Look at her lovely lashes! / Baby Zebra! I could of taken him home. I'd ride him back to England / Paul being photo bombed. Epic / How big of an Eagle is he? / These also lived with Reindeer and some sort of cows on a little island surrounded by water at the front of the zoo / After we had finished our adventure we hit the shops for souvenirs and came across this awesome pop-up make-up shop filled with COLOUR! I'm not the richest of people at the moment so i didn't even have a look because i knew i wouldn't be able to stop myself. But this was a bit of a reminder picture for a later Internet search of what they've got.

Well that's in then guys, our trip! We did get up to some more bits and bobs, and as i said before i took A LOT more pictures, but we'd be here all week if i posted everything.

Glad to see you lovelies enjoyed the first part, thank you for all the lovely comments. And I'm glad to see I've interested some people into going there themselves.
I hope this was was enjoyable and not too filled with animals. Please leave me a comment, i appreciate every one. I'd love to hear were you guys are going this Spring/Summer or if you've been to the Dam before, get in touch! (Links below)

Amsterdam Adventure- Part One.

We went to Amsterdam for a short break thanks to Pauls parents who gave him the money for his 30th Birthday last month.
After only a 50 minute plane journey and a short train ride we had arrived. I was immediately taken aback when i saw the amount of bikes; i know Amsterdam is known for its bike riders but this was insane, i had never seen so many in my life, literally almost every street was littered by them. As about all of them were over 50 years old, it was amazing to see how people had decorated/ spray painted them (i saw one with well over 100 rubber ducks stuck on it!).
Despite the beautiful weather everyone had been having a week or so before; we spent a lot of the time in cold wind and drizzle which really limited me in my outfit choices with what i had packed. I ended up wearing all my jackets in one go and had our hoods up for most of the trip (not so attractive).
Regardless, we weren't going to let the weather change our planned adventures. We rode bikes, ate pancakes (well i did), walked/ explored A LOT and went to THE BEST ZOO i have been to.
All the buildings were all so beautiful and unique, i spent most of the time with my head up looking at the architecture, resulting in neck ache ever since. I've really have never seen anything like it.

This is the first part of our trip (i took a few too many pictures!) which includes, the airport. Quickest journey ever, makes me never want to check in a bag again / our time trying to find our hotel (Amsterdam is a small but very confusing place!) / awesome sites which included a giant tacky Winnie The Pooh / A mummy and her chicks in the nest she'd made from litter outside our hotel / Bike rides around Vondle Park / Amazing tree!! / Walking around / Lovely details and unique architecture on every house. I loved this gate / Here you have a bike, or if you're lucky devil, you get a TINY CAR! Loved these. Size comparison picture with Paul for you there / I have never before seen a shop with so much cheese / His mug should be up there, its so pretty / If i moved to Amsterdam i would live here / A handsome man at the canal beside our hotel / I HAD to have a pancake. Paul isn't really that kinda guy but did enjoy the couple of bites he stole / I should do this to my basket!

So there's a few snaps from the first part of our trip. More loveliness of the Dam to come, and THE ZOO! Everyone loves a day at the zoo!

Thanks for having a look at some of what we got up to in Amsterdam my lovelies. I hope you'll enjoy the next one, which will be up in a day or two.

I can't wait to see all your holidays and adventures. Let me know where you're going!
Or if you've been to the Netherlands!
